Port Aransas Preservation and Historical Association

The Port Aransas Museum is a great stop for history buffs and those looking to learn a little while in Port Aransas. The museum is in an early 1900s home and features a collection of artifacts and exhibits showcasing the area’s history and preservation. 

The museum also offers tours of the area, including a history tour by boat. 

Farley Boat Works

Farley Boat Works is also on-site and offers visitors an inside look at boat building. You can take classes at the facility and learn from Port Aransas’ most experienced shipwrights. There is even a family-friendly class so everyone can come together to learn about the history and craft of boat building.
